    Search for thjthj production with h→γγh\rightarrow \gamma\gamma at the LHC in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity

    In the littlest Higgs model with T-parity, we study associated production of a Higgs and a single top quark at the 14 TeV LHC. We focus on the Higgs to two photons decay and the semileptonic top decay channel. By performing a fast detector simulation, we find that the thjthj search in the selected channel can excluded the top partner mass mT+m_{T_{+}} up to 805 (857) GeV for case A (case B) at 2Οƒ2\sigma confidence level at 14 TeV LHC with the integrated luminosity L=3abβˆ’1L= 3 \rm ab^{-1}

    Possibility of Large Final State Interaction Phases in Light of B \to K\pi and \pi\pi Data

    The newly observed BΛ‰0β†’KΛ‰0Ο€0\bar B^0 \to \bar K^0\pi^0 mode is quite sizable while Ο€βˆ’Ο€+\pi^-\pi^+ is rather small. Data also hint at Ο€βˆ’Ο€0β‰³Ο€βˆ’Ο€+\pi^-\pi^0 \gtrsim \pi^-\pi^+. Though consistent with zero, central values of CP violating asymmetries in Kβˆ’Ο€+,0K^-\pi^{+,0} and KΛ‰0Ο€βˆ’\bar K^0\pi^- show an interesting pattern. Taking cue from these, we suggest that, besides γ≑arg(Vubβˆ—)\gamma\equiv {\rm arg} (V_{ub}^*) being large, the rescattering phase Ξ΄\delta in KΟ€K\pi and ππ\pi\pi modes may be greater than 90∘90^\circ. If this is true, not only the above trends can be accounted for, one would also find Ο€0Ο€0βˆΌΟ€βˆ’Ο€+,0\pi^0\pi^0 \sim \pi^-\pi^{+,0}, and the CP asymmetry in BΛ‰0\bar B^0 vs. B0β†’Ο€βˆ’Ο€+B^0 \to \pi^-\pi^+ could be as large as -60%.
